Hello everyone, my name is Madison Ours. I’ve been crocheting for a long time thanks to a friend of mine from my church teaching me how to double crochet when I was about eight or nine years old. I didn’t start really doing too much with crocheting until college when I seemed to be creating and learning new techniques when I should have been studying. It’s taken me a few years to realize that crocheting is my therapy. Whenever I get stressed, picking up my favorite hook and a skein of yarn is better than any therapist.

More about me personally, first and foremost I’d be lost without my Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be all the glory and the reason why I am here to this day. I’m a new wife, married to my bestest friend, Corey, in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic. He is such a loving supporter and encourager as he tries to find his way through our house with multiple projects and skeins of yarn in random places throughout the house. I work as a radiation therapist as my nine to five job. I myself am a cancer survivor so to give back to those battling cancer is for sure a calling of mine. I come from a great family in a little town in the beautiful state of West Virginia, but my husband and I currently reside in Ohio.

I’m a big time Hallmark fan. I love watching movies and spending as much time as possible outside. My job requires me to be in the basement so I absorb any sunlight I can, when I can!

I hope this page inspires you to pick up a hook and just have some fun. To destress. Try new things. Maybe even learn a thing or two. I’m slowly working on some of my own patterns, so always check for those.

I’m not sure where this journey will take me, but thanks for coming along with me!
